Make these superb bread rolls for sandwiches or burgers. These rolls are made with 80% white bread flour, 20% wholemeal bread flour as well as poppy seeds and linseeds.
Ingredients
strong white bread flour - 400g
wholemeal bread flour - 100g
salt - 1 + 1/2 teaspoons
sugar - 1 tablespoon yeast - 1 teaspoons
water/milk mix - 310cc
poppyseeds - 1 teaspoon
golden linseeds - 1 teaspoon
olive oil 1 tablespoon
Method
Put all the ingredents into the bowl of a powerful food mixer ( e.g. magimix ), turn on and start adding the water slowly.
As the dough starts to come together, slowly add the remaining water, then continue to mix for 2-3 minutes until dough becomes homogeneous
Tip the dough into an oiled basin. Cover and leave for 2 hours or until at least doubled in size.
Knead and cut into 16 balls and place on an oiled tray
Put in a fan assisted oven at 220 degrees for 12 mins
Cool on a wire rack.
