Home made pizza with crispy base.
Ingredients for the pizza dough base
350cc warm water
2.5 teaspoons of active dry yeast
500g bread flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
Pizza topping ingredients
Extra virgin olive oil
Polenta - sprinkle on to surface when stretching out pizza base
Tomato sauce puréed
Fresh soft mozzarella cheese, separated into small clumps
Parmesan cheese, grated
Feta cheese, crumbled
1 Pepper, cut in to 1.5 cm squares
Chorizo - 6cm, thinly sliced
Chopped fresh basil
Baby rocket, tossed in a little olive oil, added as pizza comes out of the oven
Onions, thinly sliced raw or caramelized
Palma Ham, thinly sliced
